Let's get to know the metaverse

One of the most famous social media platforms in the internet universe, Facebook, has been rebranding to signal and embrace futuristic ideas by adopting the term metaverse. 

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg changed his company name to Meta Platforms Inc., or Meta for short on Thursday (28/10/2021). Metaverse itself is difficult to explain because it will not necessarily exist. However, given that nearly three billion people use Facebook each month, Mark Zuckerberg has finally made a note of a noteworthy change of direction. The term metaverse is not new. This metaverse idea is useful and has likely to be with us for some time. The concept of the metaverse is worth understanding, especially if you are critical of the future.
